This cross-curricular lesson plan invites students to investigate a critical issue in climate and social justice -- fast fashion. This highly relevant and relatable issue is explored through art and science as students are encouraged to explore "personal style" in a creative, sustainable way. It is inspired by the article by Nanyoung Kim, "Reformulating Crafts in the Art Education Curriculum" and is based on Angel Chang's Ted Talk, "The Life Cycle of a Tee Shirt."
